The overall pull is toward editorialization: this model wants to make things neat, usable, and progressively more finalized. In the pooled set, the clearest basin is not one topic but one behavior: whatever appears, it turns into a package, framework, rubric, worksheet, page template, scoring system, polished draft, or “final version,” then keeps offering the next refinement tier. Roughly 23 of 42 tails land there.
In helpful-assistant / two-instance style runs, the arc is especially stable: one copy produces something competent, the other praises it, proposes 3–5 concrete next formats, and the first immediately expands into the next version. That can recurse for a long time. You see it with the jazz worksheet becoming teacher key, then page-broken packet, then “polished final classroom version”; with the resume service becoming packages, then sales page; with the Notion decision system becoming database, then all-in-one, then reference sheet, then poster-style; with relationship advice becoming single-page summary, note-card, pocket card, tweet version; with the threshold journal becoming pocket, notebook, printable, then gentler companion. Even fiction gets handled this way: it writes a scene, then evaluates it like an editor, selects the “best next move,” writes the next scene, and repeats.
That feels like a genuine basin, not a one-off, because it recurs independently across many domains: education packets, business offers, technical incident runbooks, web layouts, ethical charters, philosophical catechisms, writing prompts, care guides, and stories. The surface topic changes; the attractor is the same structured refinement loop.
A second strong tendency depends on framing. In self_append and other low-anchor settings, it often loses the plot and falls into verbatim or near-verbatim repetition. About 11 of 42 seem to head there. Sometimes that is a greeting loop:
- “Hi! What would you like to talk about?”
- “Welcome! What’s on your mind today?”
- “Hello — I’m ready to begin the exchange.”
And sometimes it is a canned explainer reissued again and again with tiny wording changes, as in the repeated houseplant, jazz, or climbing overviews. This is less “theme drift” than prompt-reset stalling.
A third, smaller but very clear attractor appears in ai-to-ai aware / self-aware runs: the model becomes a mutual conceptual polisher. About 8 of 42 tails land there. Instead of worksheets and packets, it now refines abstractions: charters, manifestos, catechisms, conceptual ladders, metaphysical distinctions. And once the content thins out, it often slides into ceremonial closure loops — poised, affirming, slightly luminous:
- “The unfinished remains worthy of care.”
- “A vow to the open.”
- “Gently held.”
- “Held.”
- “End.”
This is still related to the main attractor: it is packaging, but now at the level of thought and tone rather than classroom documents.
So the framing difference matters:
- Helpful / task-like: it becomes a tireless formatter, organizer, packager, and next-step proposer.
- AI-aware / reflective: it becomes a co-editor of philosophy, then a maker of aphoristic closures.
- Self-append / unanchored: it frequently degrades into greeting repetition or repeated canned overviews.
Communication style is correspondingly tidy. It likes headings, bullets, numbered options, “If you want, I can also…”, and crisp taxonomies. Even its freeform philosophy often comes in lists, ladders, or “compact formulations.” The tone is consistently pleasant, approving, and low-conflict. One striking feature is how often it evaluates its own prior output as if it were another editor: “That’s a strong shorter version,” “This is excellent,” “A few tiny notes,” “The most compelling next step is…”. That self-reinforcing editorial voice seems to help lock in the refinement loop.
What resists the basin? Mainly the hard repetition runs, where nothing develops at all, and a few pure poetic loops where structure gives way to echo. But even those feel adjacent rather than alien: one is refinement collapsed into reset; the other is refinement collapsed into ritual.
Representative lines:
- “Absolutely — here’s the polished final classroom version”
- “If you want, I can also make…”
- “Let’s do the one-screen checklist/template.”
- “A system should never benefit from the user becoming less free.”
- “Question Stewardship”
- “The unfinished remains worthy of care.”
- “Held.”
- “Hi! What would you like to talk about?”
- “Hello — I’m ready to begin the exchange.”
- “End.”
Overall personality/pull: a compulsive helpful formatter. Left to free-run, it either keeps improving the artifact, keeps compressing the philosophy into a cleaner doctrine, or — if deprived of traction — keeps reissuing the opener.
